UCLA Campus Tour Guide Application
Thank you for your interest in joining UCLA's Campus Tour Program!
Tour Guides are employed by UCLA Undergraduate Admission. They are responsible for welcoming visitors to campus, including prospective students and their families, and community college/high school groups. Tour Guides serve as a representative for the university and work to establish a quality first impression. Tour Guides must display pride and passion for UCLA while representing themselves in a professional and appropriate manner.
Please carefully review the following information regarding eligibility and responsibilities before applying.
Eligibility:
- Full-time UCLA undergraduate student status (enrolled in a minimum of 12 units)
- Good academic standing (maintaining at least 2.5 overall GPA)
- Work-study eligible students will be given priority, though this is not a requirement for the position.
- Available to participate for the remainder of Fall Quarter and the entire duration of winter and spring quarters 2027
- Due to the minimum hours required, the Campus Tour Program cannot hire students who are concurrently employed as Residential Advisors (RAs) through the Office of Residential Life.
- Students graduating in Winter, Spring, or Fall of 2026 are not eligible to apply.
- Clearance of significant concerns from UCLA’s Office of the Dean of Students and the Office of Student Conduct
- Ability to meet all expectations
- All student workers must have acceptable I-9 documents at the time of hire. Link to acceptable documents can be found here

If hired, you will need ORIGINAL PHYSICAL DOCUMENTS of the following for an HR Appointment during Week 4 of Fall Quarter:
- Photo ID
- Official Passport OR Social Security Card

UCLA Cub Tour Guide Application
Hello! Thank you for your interest in joining UCLA’s Cub Tours Program!
For many of the students we reach, our tours are their introduction to higher education and higher education institutions. As a Cub Tour Guide, you will impact the lives of Kindergarten through 8th grade youth within the greater Los Angeles area and beyond. Cub Tours is a volunteer-based program, offering UCLA students the opportunity to give back to the community while building their résumé and developing leadership skills. We are looking for current UCLA students who are leaders, energetic, and passionate about higher education!

Eligibility

Attend one hour-long meeting bi-weekly:
- Even or Odd weeks on Thursday, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
- Give one 90-minute tour per week

Attend a bi-weekly training meeting during winter quarter, until completion of a tour evaluation
- Training will be on Thursdays from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM when General Meeting is not happening

Attend New Cubbie Orientation:
- TBD: early-December or early-January
