If you’re a prospective transfer student from Grossmont College, Cuyamaca College, Palomar College, or Mira Costa College, I’m here to support you throughout the transfer process. One-on-one advising appointments are available to students from these colleges.
During our appointment, we can discuss:- Transfer admission requirements
- Major preparation and staying on track
- The UC application
- Personal Insight Questions (PIQs)
- Next steps after admission decisions
Please note that admission staff are unable to pre-evaluate coursework transferability before an application is submitted. I recommend reviewing our UCLA Transferability Guide to better understand how your coursework will be evaluated. Visit: https://admission.ucla.edu/publications
Before your appointment, I encourage you to complete your UC Transfer Admission Planner (UC TAP). A completed TAP helps me better understand your academic progress and allows us to make the most of our time together.
To schedule an appointment, select an available date and time, then choose to meet by Zoom or phone. Appointments are offered during the fall (September–early November) and spring (April–May) terms, with limited availability during the summer. Appointment availability is released on a rolling basis.
