Guided Campus Tour

    Campus tours are led by UCLA students and will highlight academic programs, resources and student life.

    • Tours on Mondays, Wednesdays (10:15 AM) and Fridays last approximately 2 hours which includes a 30-minute presentation at the start of the tour.
    • Tours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays (2:45 PM), Thursdays and Saturdays last approximately 1 1/2 hours and do not include a presentation.

    The tour includes hills and stairs; comfortable shoes are recommended. Please allow ample time for Los Angeles traffic and parking.

    Campus Tour Guidelines
    • Campus Tour registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis. Once a date is fully booked, we are unable to accommodate additional requests.
    • The tour includes hills and stairs; comfortable shoes are recommended. Please allow ample time for Los Angeles traffic and parking. 
    • We give tours rain or shine! We recommend checking the forecast and dressing accordingly. Umbrellas are not provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if desired. 
    Tour reservations are required for all guests and we do not offer a waitlist and/or stand by option. We are only able to accommodate the number of people for which the reservation was made for. Guests without a reservation will not be accommodated.

    • Campus Tour registrations typically open two months in advance.   
    • Please note that we do not offer Campus Tours during the following periods:
      • Winter Break, Week before start of Fall Quarter, Saturday’s during Finals Week 
      • We encourage you to reference the UCLA Academic Calendar for specific dates the university is closed.  
    • Availability is also dependent on tour guide staffing, which varies each quarter.  
    • While housing, athletics, and dining is discussed verbally on the tour and guests are encouraged to ask questions, tour guides will not walk students through the housing areas, athletics facilities, or dining options as we are not permitted visitation to those areas. 

    You have the option to take a self-guided walking tour of campus, the tour will take approximately 45 minutes and you can go at your own pace. You can sign up for a self-guided tour or you can stop by Undergraduate Admission located in 1147 Murphy Hall to pick up a self-guided tour map.
