STOMP Coordinator Application 2025-2026 Paid Coordinator Position Available Summary Student Transfer Outreach and Mentor Program (STOMP) was created by UCLA students who sought to ensure that four-year collegiate institutions remain accessible to students enrolled at California community colleges. As a program of UCLA Undergraduate Admission, STOMP works under the supervision of the Transfer Recruitment Unit to outreach to and recruit prospective transfer students, many who come from underrepresented communities. DescriptionThe STOMP Coordinators’ primary roles are to supervise the STOMP Club (all volunteers), and lead the programmatic efforts of STOMP, including the annual STOMP Conference. Coordinators are responsible for working with UCLA student organizations and the Leadership & Engagement (SOLE) Advisor to submit funding applications on time. In addition, the STOMP Coordinator supports Undergraduate Admission programming, especially those aimed at outreach and recruitment for prospective transfer students. In many cases, STOMP students engage highly qualified community college students who are seeking reassurance and support.Please note that for the 2025-2026 academic year, this position will operate in a hybrid modality. Required QualificationsBe an enrolled UCLA undergraduate student for the 2025-2026 academic year Be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. upon hire Be able to work 8-10 hours a week Be able to work virtually and in person Be able to effectively coordinate, lead, and facilitate meetings, events, and presentations Be familiar with the transfer process, UCLA and community college resources Preferred QualificationsWork-study Highly organized and ability to balance multiple responsibilities Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Passion for higher education and strong sense of care for transfer student success Knowledge of STOMP and transfer student experiences Experience working in a team environment Work-study Pay Rate: $19.40/hour Application Deadline: Sunday, August 3rd 11:59PM PST (subject to change)STOMP is housed within UCLA Undergraduate Admission.
