Cub Tour Guide Application 2023 - 2024

Hello! Thank you for your interest in becoming a Cub Tours Guide for the 2023 - 2024 academic year! For many of the students we reach, our tours are their introduction to higher education and higher education institutions. As a Cub Tour Guide, you will impact the lives of many Kindergarten through 8th grade youth within the greater Los Angeles area and beyond. Cub Tours is also a great résumé builder and an excellent space to display leadership. We are looking for current UCLA students who are leaders, energetic, and passionate about higher education!

All new Cub Tours Guides will be REQUIRED to:

• Attend one hour-long meeting every week: Thursday, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
• Give one 90-minute tour per week
• Attend a weekly training meeting during winter quarter, until completion of a tour evaluation
  • Training times and length of course will be based on guide availability
• Attend New Cubbie Orientation on Thursday, November 16 from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
• Work a Cub Day shift. Date TBD (Day will either be Friday, May 17 or Friday, May 31)
• Attend Fall Kickoff Training: Monday, September 23 2024

Please note that if you are planning to study abroad for Winter quarter 2024, you will not be considered for this position.
