    Undergraduate Admission representatives will review the UC application and holistic review process. The session will include the application timeline and tips, as well as an in depth look at how UCLA reviews freshman applications.

       


    Your thoughts on leadership? Your creative side? A challenge or obstacle you've faced? Don’t know where to start when it comes to writing the UC Application’s Personal Insight Question responses? Brainstorm with UCLA Admission Representatives, get tips on how to begin writing your PIQ responses and ways to strengthen them after your initial draft.

    This session will focus on the transfer admission process for students primarily transferring from a California community college. Learn insights and tips on how to best prepare to apply.

    The Transfer Student Center is the central hub for all things transfer. With one-third of undergraduates entering UCLA as transfers, the center empowers students to thrive by offering resources, programming, and one-on-one guidance.

    General Videos


    Research, creativity, innovation, and discovery are hallmarks of UCLA, a Tier 1 research institution. This session will provide information on how over 50% of undergraduate students engage in research across all fields and discuss the variety of research opportunities available. Student involvement in research is supported by two centers; the Undergraduate Research Center – Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences & the Undergraduate Research Center – Sciences. 

       


    A representative from the UCLA Financial Aid and Scholarship department will discuss the resources available to fund and finance a UCLA education. Learn about the value of a UCLA education as they review financial information including the cost of attendance, how to apply for financial aid, and the types of aid available to students.
