    Hello!

I am excited to meet with you and answer any questions you may have.One-on-one admission advising appointments are available for prospective transfer applicants currently enrolled at select California community colleges.

During an admission advising appointment, students can receive guidance on:

    • Transfer admission requirements
    • The UC application
    • Next steps after transfer admission decisions are released

Please note, admission staff are unable to pre-evaluate coursework transferability prior to the submission of an application.

Before the appointment, students are strongly encouraged to create and complete a UC Transfer Admission Planner (UC TAP). If you don't have time to create one beforehand, that's okay too, but a completed TAP helps me track your academic progress and make our time together more personalized. In the "My academic history" section of UC TAP, students should enter:

    • All colleges and universities attended
    • All coursework and grades exactly as they appear on unofficial transcripts
    • All exams taken

To schedule an appointment, click on an available date on the calendar, select a time, choose whether you'd like to meet by Zoom or phone, and complete the registration. If you choose phone, I'd really appreciate your full attention during our time together, some of what we cover is easier to follow visually, so a quiet moment works best rather than multitasking.

Advising appointments are offered during the fall (September – early November) and spring (April – early May) terms. Availability is released on a rolling basis. If no appointments are available, students are encouraged to register for a virtual transfer admission presentation or submit a contact form. I look forward to meeting you!
