We are grateful and excited for the opportunity to teach your students about higher education at UCLA and/or beyond. Our Cub Tours are led by current UCLA student volunteers, who will provide a 90-minute in-person walkthrough of campus and will highlight academic programs, resources, and student life. In order to ensure a smooth, successful experience, please review the following important information before submitting:

    Cub Tour Guidelines

Cub Tours registrations are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. As such, all remaining group tour times shown are available in the calendar view. UCLA reserves the right to cancel registrations for groups that fail to meet our criteria. By making a registration, your group agrees to adhere to the rules listed below:
    • Cub Tours are reserved for elementary schools, middle schools, and community-based organizations who work with students in 8th grade level and below.
      • If you are requesting a group tour for students in 9th grade level and above or a Community College Group, please submit a request to our Campus Tours Program here.
    • The primary contact listed on the form is responsible for responding to any communications sent by us via phone or email, so please confirm the details are correct and operational. Failure to confirm the details of your tour prior to or on the day of the visit if deemed necessary by our staff may result in a cancellation of your registration.
    • Arriving late will result in a shortened tour. If your group arrives more than 15 minutes late, the tour will be canceled. As there is a high demand for these tours, please be considerate of our guides’ time and other groups and cancel your registration if your group ends up being unavailable so that we may open this opportunity for others. Cancellations should be completed at least seven business days prior to the scheduled visit if possible. Failure to communicate delays and absences, even if unforeseen, may prevent your ability to book future registrations.
      • Late arrivals with no communication will not be accommodated and are encouraged to utilize our Self-Guided Tour resources
    • One adult chaperone is required per 25 students, and the chaperone(s) are required to stay with the group for the entire duration of the tour. The chaperone(s) are responsible for maintaining the safety and wellbeing of the students throughout the tour. In accordance with UCLA’s Principles of Community and True Bruin Values, we expect that all campus visitors, including student guests, are inclusive and respectful and hold themselves and each other accountable. Chaperones should be conscious to control excessive talking and any inappropriate actions/language. If any guest behavior jeopardizes the holistic safety of any individual or the quality of the tour, UCLA Cub Tour Guides reserve the right to end the tour at any time.Significant behavioral issues on tours may jeopardize your future visits with UCLA Cub Tours. Please refer to UCLA’s Values here for additional information.
